The Fredericksburg Regional Alliance at the University of Mary Washington along with University of Mary Washington’s Center for Career and Professional Development will be hosting a STEM Speed Networking Event this fall. The event will take place Thursday, September 26 from 3-5 PM in UMW’s University Center’s Chandler Ballroom.
STEM Speed Networking allows for UMW STEM students to become comfortable speaking in a professional setting with employers who may share the same interests. Students attending will typically be juniors and seniors majoring in chemistry, biology, environmental science, computer science, physics, mathematics and more!
We invite all employers interested to join us, regardless if you have a job position or internship to offer. The event is to allow students the opportunity to talk to professionals without any added pressure.
